Overview

Link Revealer improves browsing safety by expanding shortened or obfuscated URLs and showing the true destination before you click. The extension does not collect, transmit, sell, or share personal data.

Permissions Used

• activeTab — Accesses the current tab’s URL only after you explicitly click the extension icon, so the destination can be expanded and shown to you.
• scripting — Injects the extension’s own content script and CSS into the current tab only after your click, to analyze the link and display the tooltip.

Data Processing

• No personal or sensitive data is collected, stored, shared, or sold.
• No analytics or tracking is performed.
• All link expansion and checks run locally in your browser; nothing is sent to our servers.
